Tina Turner had a difficult life during childhood and adolescence. Before becoming famous around the world, she was called by the name her parents gave her: Anna Mae Bullock, who was born on November 26, 1939, in Brownsville, in the United States, being abandoned in a nightclub at the age of 15, when her parents separated. It was at this time that she sought to live with her grandmother in the state of Tennessee, later moving to Missouri at the age of 16. In this other change, she ends up knowing Ike Turner, even joining his band, Kings of rhythm.

Together, Ike e Tina they had two children: Ronald Renelle Turner and Craig Raymond Turner. The singer was married to the member of Kings of rhythm until 1978, getting divorced and restarting her career soon after — she even revealed the attacks she suffered in her relationship with him in the book “I, Tina: The Story of My Life“, released in 1986 and later adapted into a film seven years later.

The year 1984 is the debut moment of Turner as a solo singer: the artist launches Private Dancer, album that sells 20 million copies. It is precisely with this work that the singer manages to establish herself in the charts of success, singing What's Love Gotta do with It. 1993: Ayrton Senna, a pilot who would die the following year, was present at the Tina Turner in Australia. The singer was in Oceania to end her tour at that time. Everything was normal until then, until the singer saw Senna in the audience and decides to call him on stage. The presence of the pilot, then, yielded a striking scene: Turner sings The Best (The Best, in free translation) next to him, as a way of showing your admiration for him. His last tour took place from 2007 to 2009: in an interview with the journalist Gayle King, from US broadcaster CBS, she described her feelings as she left the stage.

In the early 2010s, Tina Turner had a stroke that left her weak. Even the impact of this health crisis left her unable to walk, having to relearn the skill.
