With that in mind, the company announced last week that it is testing a button that lets users create a temporary link to share profiles within the social network. For security reasons the link expires after 72h that was generated.

Once link is shared, the recipient can still choose to try to match or not, as if they were viewing the profile on their timeline as long as they have the app installed. Tinder also reported that users who do not want their profile to be shared can disable this option in the app's privacy settings.

The team at tinder also informed that he is experimenting with other forms of sharing, such as WhatsApp. The company imagines that people will want to share profiles of other users with friends in order to play the role of cupid.

This function comes at a time of great concern for the company with the increasing amount of websites and blogs that post bizarre photos of tinder, this is a concern as the company wants to be known for serious profiles, and with this new feature the company hopes that people will spend more time sharing weird profiles with friends or pointing out super attractive people instead of just taking screenshots of them to make jokes.
