Amazingly, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, celebrated 15 years of existence in 2023, with 36 films and 6 series to date. Now it's time to list all these productions of Casa das Ideias, from the weakest to the strongest.

The fight was ugly and many heroes returned to their secret hideouts sulking with us, but we didn't budge. Hold tight, grab your bucket of popcorn and come with us, this battle is going to be a good one!

(?) Secret Invasion (2023)

IMDB Note: 6,8 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 61%

Because the current Marvel series starring Samuel L. Jackson is still in progress, it is not possible to place it in the ranking. On the other hand, after three chapters, we are not very excited.

Its pace is messy and the writers put little value on the limited time Secret Invasion. There are only six episodes in total to tell the story that stops the MCU is an important hook between your phases.

53. The Inhumans (2017)

IMDB Note: 4,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 11%

Have you ever heard of a series project that was so bad, so bad that it was canceled before it even aired? That's what happened to The Inhumans, the series that would finally debut Marvel's mighty beings on the MCU

Originally, The Inhumans it was supposed to be a feature film, but ended up being adapted into a series format, with six episodes. Even so, it was canceled shortly after the premiere due to very low audience numbers and ABC's little interest in keeping the project active.

On the other hand, the main character of the series, Black Lightning, played by Anson Mount, had a cameo as a board member Illuminati of judgment of Dr. Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, along with Reed Richards, Dr. Charles Xavier, Captain Carter and Captain Marvel.

52. Helstrom (2020)

IMDB Note: 6,7 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: N/A

Helstrom is another of Hulu's productions for Marvel. It focuses on terror, starring the characters Daimon and Satana Helstrom, created by Roy Thomas and John Romita Sr. in the comics. Sons of the devil himself, the brothers are relentless pursuers of the scum of the Earth.

Intended to be the introduction to the arc adventure in fear, the failure of the series buried all intentions on the part of the producers to incorporate it into the MCU. It only lasted ten episodes, and all of them were miserable, which makes the series worthy of a mere footnote.

51. The Eternals (2022)

IMDB Note: 6,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 47%

The arrival of the legendary Jack Kirby's masterpiece to Marvel couldn't be more disappointing than The Eternals. Even with an all-star cast like Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, the movie is a drag to watch.

The Eternals proves that even with all the power of Marvel Studios behind a production, if there is no story development combined with good cinematography – and by that, we mean all the elements that make a film good – there is no way.

50. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever After (2022)

IMDB Note: 6,7 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 84%

Black Panther without its star Chadwick Boseman isn't the same, and with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, this has been more than proven. Even the introduction of one of Marvel's oldest characters into the MCU, Namor, wasn't enough to make this movie any more edible.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever suffer from the same problems as The Eternals, is a film with serious problems of pacing and story development, it only has the show provided by the special effects, and even that doesn't work. From phase 4, which is not even close to being the best MCU, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is at the bottom of the race, unfortunately.

49. The Defenders (2017)

IMDB Note: 7,2 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 78%

Marvel's beloved team of urban heroes may have struggled a bit to finally get to star in their series, The Defenders, but it was the public who ended up having to swallow the hard pill that was this disgrace.

The Defenders it is a very weak series and without practically any element that saves it from oblivion, since it used parts of the story of the very weak second season of demolisher to sew a headless plot to bring together the characters of the blind hero and his friends, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones.

Skip this one, unless you want to brag about watching everything Marvel has produced these days.

48. Iron Fist (2017)

IMDB Note: 6,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 37%

Iron fist had the potential to be an uncompromising beat-em-up series, as well as Luke Cage's comic book partner hero. What we got was a complete disaster.

Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell, from Game of Thrones) did not convince in the role of Danny Rand and even with a second season, it was not enough to keep the adaptation off the Netflix cancellation list.

47. Cloak and Dagger (2018)

IMDB Note: 6,6 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 87%

series of Freeform, Cloak and Dagger it was successful enough with its first season to have a second, but it was canceled shortly thereafter. It tells the story of friends Tandy and Tyrone, two teenagers with super powers, who assume the title identities of the series to solve the world's evils.

Coming from two very different origins, the friendship between the two ends up speaking louder, and the series even gets it right when dealing with such subjects, as a product whose target is a younger audience, as part of the catalog of ABC Family, aka Freeform. Of all the off-axis series of the most famous heroes, Cloak and Dagger it's by far the best, even if that's not high praise.

46. Thor: The Dark World (2013)

IMDB Note: 6,8 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 66%

How do you take a character who wasn't so well liked and make him even more hated? Make him a sullen person, who takes himself a little too seriously, like Thor is in Thor the Dark World, add a horde of dull villains, waste the excellent villain that Loki was in the first Thor and The Avengers and the result is this boring film.

not important Thor the Dark World went to the phase of which he was part in the MCU, and of all its peers in that period of the sequence of films, it was the one that impressed the least, and there were some that were painfully annoying too…

45. Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

IMDB Note: 7,0 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 87%

Of importance for your stage of MCU, Ant-Man and the Wasp it could be considered a footnote and even then, it's an effort to say that the events of the film themselves are important to the overall context; even worse, for having a totally forgettable plot, not even Paul Rudd's jokes are able to save it.

It's only what happens in his post-credits scene that works as a hook for the Thanos saga, as it takes place right after the Mad Titan snaps his fingers and the beginning of the "Blip".

44. Iron Man 3 (2013)

IMDB Note: 7,1 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 79%

It's hard to imagine how they managed to ruin a concept as cool as Extremis, one of the tin man comic book sagas of today, but that's exactly what they did with it. Iron Man 3. Not to mention that they made the hero's great enemy, the Mandarin, a great joke, with Ben Kingsley in the role of someone who should be Asian. It's something that Shang Chi ended up working out, but until we got to that movie, it was a tough nine years.

The salvation of the film is the presence of virtually all the armor that Tony Stark has ever used on and off the screens, which even those who hate the film have no right to deny that it was an animal to see on the big screen. No wonder this was the golden avenger's last solo film.

43. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

IMDB Note: 7,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 76%

In the same way that other of Marvel's not-so-great movies have wasted an excellent character, Avengers: Age of Ultron it does so with one of the publisher's most important characters, but which is actually rather boring: we're talking about Ultron; in the comics, he is a creation of Hank Pym who runs out of control and causes chaos wherever he goes, but is important in the general context for giving rise to the Vision.

In the movie version, Ultron was developed by Stark and also ended up spiraling out of control. The whole plot involving the killer robot mixes with an international plot in a fictional country that became the thorn in the side of the team during the second phase of the MCU, but which in general was nothing more than a quick mention here and there.

The mess they made with the characters of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in this film due to the fight between Marvel and Fox for the rights of the mutants also gave a lot of cloth to the writers' sleeves later on.

42. Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

IMDB Note: 6,2 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 63%

The second God of Thunder film under the command of Taika Waititi was wrong and ugly when exaggerating the humor when adapting the Carneiro dos Deuses saga from the comics to the cinema screens.

On the contrary Thor: Ragnarok, love and thunder it staggers in its more than two hours of duration, and even with the presence of the excellent Christian Bale in the role of the villain and the return of Natalie Portman’s character taking the place of Thor in the pantheon of the gods, the film does not reach anywhere.

41. Moon Knight (2022)

IMDB Note: 7,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 86%

Expectations were high for Oscar Isaac's debut at the MCU, by embodying the schizophrenic hero and the series, despite having a very convincing interpretation of the actor, who assumed more than one character when giving life to the hero, had a story that simply did not succeed.

Even with an interesting dynamic between the hero and his villain, with a good interpretation by Ethan Hawke (Gattaca), the series failed to bring a plot that did justice to the characters, showing that even with renowned actors there is no way to keep a series away from failure.

40. The Runaways (2017)

IMDB Note: 6,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 84%

The proposal for The fugitives it's really interesting: what would happen if the children of Marvel villains decided not to follow the path trodden by their parents? In the comics, that was the premise of a relatively successful series, written by Brian K. Vaughan, and it was adapted for TV as a Hulu original show.

Unlike the homonymous HQ, The fugitives did not win a captive audience with the small screen series and ended up canceled even before the ten episodes aired on the television service. streaming. It has no connection with the universe that we know in the movies and in the other series of the MCU.

39. Mrs. Marvel (2022)

IMDB Note: 6,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 80%

Ms. Marvel brought a freshness that had not been seen in the MCU. Its first episodes left fans excited with the introduction of the charismatic teenage heroine, a bestseller in the comics, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the plot was lost towards the end of the series.

the link between Ms. Marvel with the rest of MCU is yet to come true, for it will be in the coming marvels that it will finally happen, with Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers switching identities, Ms. and Captain Marvel respectively.

38. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

IMDB Note: 7,6 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 85%

The second adventure of the craziest team in space didn't come close to the first. Even with Kurt Russell in the role of Ego, Star-Lord's biological father, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 didn't win.

The big question of the film is the same as that of other Marvel products, in which the need for jokes in the script ends up disturbing the flow of the film, and the measure did not go well, disturbing the pace of the film too much. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Its post-credits scene, at least, held a promise that was worth waiting for in the third film, with the introduction of Adam Warlock to the MCU.

37. Guardians of the Galaxy – Christmas Special (2022)

IMDB Note: 6,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 80%

What to say about a Christmas episode of a hit series like Guardians of the Galaxy? It's cute and fun to watch, nothing more, nothing less.

36. Hawkeye (2023)

IMDB Note: 7,5 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 89%

The great asset of Archer hawk is the return of Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, the King of Crime, a role he enshrined in demolisher. Of course, there is also much to praise for the interpretation of Hailee Steinfeld in the role of the charismatic Kate Bishop, protagonist of the series alongside Jeremy Renner.

The story takes a backseat to the action, which results in a sequence of episodes in which the anticipation of seeing how the character of the King will fit into the MCU takes first place, which isn't exactly a problem considering how unimportant the main plot is in general.

35. Luke Cage (2016)

IMDB Note: 7,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 71%

Luke Cage suffers from the problem of Marvel series on Netflix, the belly. Because it has so many episodes, what could have been two very lean seasons ended up being dragged and tired.

Cage's role as an urban hero is very well portrayed in the series, unlike the other series that were part of the arc of The Defenders, except of course the demolisher. Mike Colter (from Golden girl) brought a lot of charisma to the character, but it wasn't enough to save the series from cancellation.

34. Captain Marvel (2019)

IMDB Note: 6,8 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 79%

The arrival of Marvel's most powerful heroine to the big screen was very lukewarm. Brie Larson tried hard, but her run didn't catch on, even with a rejuvenated Samuel L. Jackson playing the early-career Nick Fury to parry her.

Even so, there are some things that Captain Marvel gets right, as it is in this film that we have the introduction of the Skrulls to the MCU, and the way in which they are presented yielded a rather cool edge for the series Secret Invasion to develop.

Not even nostalgia for the 1990s was enough to raise Captain Marvel in our ranking MCU.

33. Doctor Strange (2016)

IMDB Note: 7,5 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 86%

Benedict Cumberbatch had his solo film under the mantle of the Master of the Occult with Doctor Strange, which tells the origin of the character who shook the MCU. Even having to carry out the arduous task of introducing the hero and making him captivating to the public, Doctor Strange manages to be a fun movie without too much commitment.

The mind-blowing visuals worthy of a massive dose of LSD do justice to the designs of Steve Ditko, co-creator of the character in the comics, and are a high point of the film, one of the most beautiful in the world. MCU.

32.Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

IMDB Note: 7,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 87%

Thor: Ragnarok helped the Asgardian hero turn around after an unconvincing adventure in Dark world. Taika Waititi was able to bring something that until that moment little could be associated with the holder of Mjolnir: humor and rock 'n roll.

Against all expectations, Ragnarok delivered a humorous plot that steered the character well within the title sequence of the third phase of the MCU, following the traumatizing events of the Avengers movies with a levity that, in the hands of another director, would have a good chance of being the final nail in the film's coffin.

31. Black Widow (2021)

IMDB Note: 6,7 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 79%

There were virtually no expectations for the solo film from Black Widow. Much of that was due to the delay in release due to the pandemic, which put the brakes on the feature's production.

Scarlett Johansson shares the screen with her “sister” Florence Pugh, and both Black Widows delivered convincing interpretations of the characters, even with a plot that is far-fetched and also absurd, even by Marvel standards.

David Harbor is a highlight and surprise among the cast, in the role of the Red Guardian, the outdated and out of shape Soviet hero, the adoptive father of Natália, Johansson's character, in the plot.

30. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

IMDB Note: 7,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 91%

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is Marvel's grand homage to Hong Kong kung-fu cinema, featuring an all-star cast of the genre, including Michelle Yeoh (from the hit Everything Everywhere at the Same Time), Yuen Wah (production partner of Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao on several classics) and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai (from Hero, alongside Jet Li).

The film brought all of Marvel's Chinese mythology to the big screen without overdoing it with the usual caricatured characterization that Hollywood usually resorts to, which gave Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings the opportunity to be both a great and very well choreographed brawler.

29. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

IMDB Note: 6,1 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 82%

From the current phase of MCU, Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it is the most watchable of movies. From the current phase of MCU, is one of the most important.

It introduces audiences to the story's villains, the multiple versions of Kang the Conqueror, the iconic comic book character we got our first glimpse of in the series. Loki, with Jonathan Majors in the role. Now, as the actor finds himself in an imbroglio with the law over allegations of sexual abuse, the question remains in the air as to how Marvel will handle it.

The plot of the film is average, but all the treatment given to Kang makes it worth watching, not to mention that the reverberations of the events of Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will cause to the plot of the second season of Loki

28. What If (2021)

IMDB Note: 7,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 94%

the animated series What If of Disney+ served as a platform for the creativity of the writers to bring to TV some of the coolest stories of this parallel universe of “What If…”, which is so successful in comics.

Among the standout episodes is the long-awaited arrival of Marvel Zombies, with “What If… Zombies?”, in which the main heroes of the publisher die and end up coming back as bloodthirsty zombies and “What If… Doctor Strange Had Lost Your Heart Instead of Hands?”, which puts the Sorcerer Supreme in the place of the villain of the story, in contradiction to the events of Dr. Strange, by losing his will to live in place of his skill as a surgeon.

27. Iron Man 2 (2010)

IMDB Note: 6,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 71%

Iron Man 2 did not reach the success of the original film, but it is still a decent continuation, bringing aspects of Tony Stark's character not yet presented in other chapters of the MCU. It's the typical “it doesn't stink, but it doesn't smell either”, which delivers what it promises without much (or any) commitment.

It was the film that saw the replacement of Terrence Howard by Don Cheadle in the role of James Rhodes, who assumed the identity of War Machine, Iron Man's partner in the comics and in the MCU

26. Thor (2011)

IMDB Note: 7,0 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 77%

Long awaited and theme of teasers in previous chapters of MCU, the arrival of Thor to the cinematographic universe it's as close as a movie can get to an origin story for the character, showing Asgard in all its splendor, much like it's always been shown in the comics.

The part of the film that ended up speaking louder was its cast, which included the presence of stars like Anthony Hopkins, in the role of Zeus, Idris Elba, as Heimdall (from Luther), Natalie Portman, Jane Foster, the hero's love interest, and Stellan Skarsgård (from the fantastic HBO series, Chernobyl), not to mention Tom Hiddleston, in his debut as Loki. They all end up overcoming the ham that is Chris Hemsworth, giving Thor what your script ends up failing to provide.

25. Captain America: Civil War (2016)

IMDB Note: 7,8 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 90%

Captain America: Civil War was the grand conclusion of phase 2 of the MCU, and with it the Russo brothers delivered the clash that everyone who had followed Marvel films had expected so far. Among the film's many surprises is the first appearance of Spider-Man in the Cinematic Universe, long awaited by fans of the franchise.

In almost three hours of film, there are many fights worth noting, with emphasis on the clash of the heroes at the airport and the stick that ate loose between Iron Man and Captain America. As crazy as the story of this film is, which was based in part on the eponymous arc written by Brian Michael Bendis in the comics, the unbridled action ended up speaking louder, leaving the plot in the background, which ended up acting in the good of the film as one all.

24.Loki (2021)

IMDB Note: 8,2 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 92%

Loki as a character is already excellent, thanks to actor Tom Hiddleston's exceptional charm, so when he was paired with Owen Wilson, one of today's sleaziest actors, we were on edge for what could go wrong with the series. To our great surprise, Loki yielded an engaging and complex plot, full of twists.

In the series, we have the first appearance of the great villain of phase 4, Kang, and also the not only legal, but also psychological consequences of the whole plot by Thor's half-brother during the movies of the MCU, which materialize in a rather peculiar way throughout the series. The big promise now, seen the post-credits scene of Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will be the second season, and how it will influence the overall plot of the saga.

23. She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes (2022)

IMDB Note: 5,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 80%

This series was the most divisive of all the products coming out of the MCU, without a doubt. Fans who wanted a story taken seriously and a character less outrageous than Bruce Banner's nice cousin broke the face with Hulk Woman

It is by far the most comedic of the productions for Disney+, but even so, it told a story that, from the point of view of the MCU, has its importance, because thanks to it we know where the Hulk is today and we were able to take a break from all the daily killing and bloodshed of the Marvel universe.

Extra points for the captivating performance of actress Tatiana Maslany, who even with the heavy CGI “makeup” managed to captivate and bring a lot of charm to the most powerful lawyer in Los Angeles. Oh, and of course, the participation of the demolisher in the series is sensational, by the way.

22. The Incredible Hulk (2008)

IMDB Note: 6,6 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 69%

The incredible Hulk was the second film in the sequel to kickstart the MCU, with Ed Norton as cursed scientist Bruce Banner, whose experiments with gamma radiation transformed him into the Emerald Goliath, one of Marvel's most beloved heroes.

In the plot, Banner has already been Hulk for some time and is on the run from the authorities, living as a wandering traveler, in the same way that the character was treated in the 1970s series. The film's villain, Abomination, once again had a certain relevance in the MCU thanks to the series She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes.

It was in this film that we had one of the first and possibly best post-credits scenes ever, with Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Tony Stark taking a pole with General Ross, giving a official teaser of what was to come.

21. Ant-Man (2015)

IMDB Note: 7,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 83%

Ant Man was another of the Marvel characters to receive a solo origin film, but contrary to expectations, he stood out for the high degree of humor and the lack of commitment of his plot. By taking on the role of Scott Lang, Paul Rudd brings a lightness to the character, making him comical, clumsy, but with the heart of gold for which the hero is known in the comics.

The film itself is funny in the right measure, and even though it doesn't have great importance for the MCU, he was responsible for introducing Pym Particles to the film universe, which will play a role in the current Phase 4 of the franchise.

20. Agent Carter (2016)

IMDB Note: 7,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 86%

Hayley Atwell is the Agent Carter, an important figure in the history of Captain America and SHIELD not only in comics but also in MCU. The 2nd War ex-combatant's series is quite entertaining and even though it doesn't have an obvious connection in terms of plot with the film sequence as a whole, it managed to win a second season before ABC's cancellation.

The big cheap Agent Carter is the relationship between Atwell's character and Howard Stark, Iron Man's father, played by Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer, from the series Preacher), since the actors have a beautiful chemistry that brings a very welcome lightness to the series.

19. The Punisher (2017)

IMDB Note: 8,5 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 78%

The Avenger is probably the Marvel character that has suffered the most at the hands of Hollywood, so when the series was announced by Netflix, many turned up their noses, imagining the pastry that surprisingly did not happen when it finally debuted on the platform.

Jon Bernthal brought weight to the character, traumatized by the life experiences and losses he suffered, by far the biggest highlight of the ill-fated second season of demolisher, now in her solo series. The Avenger it's violent, as expected, but violence doesn't take the reins of the story, a common mistake in antihero movies.

Frank Castle's revenge journey lasted two seasons of much shooting and suffering for the character and is by far the best treatment given to the former police officer and vigilante since the incredible comics written by Garth Ennis under the Marvel Max imprint.

18. Jessica Jones (2015)

IMDB Note: 7,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 83%

During the first season of Jessica Jones, I couldn't get my ass off the couch while David Tennant simply stole the show in the role of the villain, the Purple Man, responsible for turning Kristen Ritter's character into the walking derailment that she is in the series.

Alcoholic and unbridled, the private detective equipped with super powers is very well portrayed by Ritter, who despite not having a noteworthy physical presence, manages to convey all the characteristic lack of control of her character every time she is on screen during the series.

Among Netflix productions, it was one of the most successful, ranking second to demolisher. Her plot moved on to another important aspect of character development as she explored her past in her second season.

17. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)

IMDB Note: 7,2 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 84%

Falcon and Winter Soldier has the responsibility of carrying the legacy of Captain America, killed at the conclusion of the third phase of the MCU. Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier are the driving forces behind the series, which also stars Wyatt Russell (Overlord), who plays the American Agent, the antithesis of Steve Rogers in every respect.

The series was right in not wanting to resignify the essence of the Captain America character and at the same time make his mantle a symbol that goes beyond a mere caricature of the United States' role in the War.

Quite the opposite, Falcon and Winter Soldier shakes up the structures of what the Captain really is, putting the Falcon in his place without leaving aside the horror caused by the experiments of the super soldier serum in the life of Isaiah Bradley, the first to carry the starry shield, a story adapted very well from the comics for the series.

16. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

IMDB Note: 7,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 92%

The version of MCU of Marvel's most beloved hero happened by surprise in The Avengers: Civil War, but it was only in Spider-Man: Homecoming that we had the solo adventure that would give more substance to the hero, now played by the young Tom Holland (from Uncharted: Off the Map).

The adventure features the participation of renowned actors such as Melissa Tomey and Michael Keaton, as well as a cast of aspiring actors who have become part of the new generation of Hollywood, such as Zendaya (star of the HBO series Euphoria).

Despite not having a very complex plot and a lot of influence at the MCU, was enough to leverage two sequels and consolidate the hero within the Universe as a sort of protégé of Tony Stark, which would become a story point in the later Avengers movies.

15. Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

IMDB Note: 6,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 85%

Okay, we admit it: no WandaVision and the various special participations, Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness would probably be there at the beginning of the list, but, in the general context, it turns out to be an important film, because in it we end up seeing the conclusion of the “mini-saga” of Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, and all her personal drama resulting from the loss of his great love, Vision.

It's funny to consider Doctor Strange as a minor character in his own movie, but that's exactly what ends up happening in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, since all the others end up having a greater value than him, even though the doctor is a fundamental part in the course of not only this one, but other films within the MCU.

The way in which not only the X-Men but the Fantastic Four entered the Marvel universe in theaters through this film should not be overlooked; it was so cool to see Reed Richards and old Charles Xavier do a cameo. Now it remains to see how the integration of these two teams in the MCU it will happen...

14. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

IMDB Note: 8,1 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 94%

As we commented back in volume 2 of Guardians of the Galaxy, the great trump card to be taken out of the sleeve in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is undoubtedly the arrival of Adam Warlock to the MCU

One of the most beloved heroes of the publisher, Warlock has a heavy role in the plot of the third Guardians film, and taking into account that the great villain of phase 4 is Kang, and his direct connection with the golden hero, there is no way to count him out of the deck MCU

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 it is also James Gunn's last appearance as a director on Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he took over the DC Comics movies. Glad his goodbye yielded a movie as fun as this one.

13. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

IMDB Note: 6,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 80%

Captain America: The First Avenger had the enormous responsibility of presenting one of the most important characters of Casa das Ideias to the MCU, which placed a heavy burden on the hands of its director, special effects wizard Joe Johnston.

The result was a typical popcorn movie, with action scenes that refer to the same source of inspiration as the films in the series. Indiana Jones, matinees from the 1930s and 1940s, with the hero giving the Nazis a lot of work in the middle of World War II, fighting the cruel Red Skull.

In terms of MCU, as this was one of the first films in the sequel, Captain America: The First Avenger was of great importance, as it not only told the origin of the character, but also presented the first piece of the puzzle that not only acted in the first phase of the cinematographic universe, but also in the next ones, the Cosmic Cube, commonly known as the Space Jewel. She would later embody Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War e The Avengers: Endgame.

12. WandaVision (2021)

IMDB Note: 7,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 91%

WandaVision it was the first Marvel series after the Netflix generation and in the context of Disney+ launches, it is the best that Casa das Ideias has given us on the small screen. Yes, the series takes a while to take shape, with initial episodes somewhat boring, but from the middle to the end the plot is a little chuchuzinho to follow.

This is not counting the course correction made when the real Pietro finally returned to Wanda's life, at least for a few moments, which since The Age of Ultron it had been the hair in the egg of the most devoted fans of Magneto's heirs. WandaVision really complete with Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, its direct continuation, closing a loop very cool and extremely important for the current phase of the MCU.

11. Black Panther (2018)

IMDB Note: 7,3 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 96%

The late Chadwick Boseman is the Black Panther and Black Panther is Chadwick Boseman. Without the actor, Marvel's first great black hero wouldn't be the same, and with the character's solo film brought to the big screen for the first time in The Avengers: Civil War, Black Panther consolidated without a place in the hearts of fans.

The plot, although simple, manages to be exciting and at the same time of great value within the MCU, because in it we finally have the entry of the powerful nation of Wakanda and its valuable vibranium metal, material that everyone wants to get their hands on.

It is worth mentioning that another actor also steals the scene in the film: Michael B. Jordan (from the Creed), in the role of the archenemy of the African hero, Killmonger, gives life and blood to the character, one of the most emblematic until today in the MCU.

10. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

IMDB Note: 7,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 95%

Homem-Aranha: Longe de Casa accomplished the feat of turning Spidey's second-tier enemy into one of the most hateful villains in the new Spider-Man movie franchise by bringing an updated version of Mystery, with Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko) in the role of the antagonist of the film.

In terms of importance within the MCU, this film did not even manage to shake the structures of the story within the phase in which it took place, but in it we were able to enjoy a well-contained and fun plot, which shook the structures of Amigão da Vizinhança and established what became the starting point for the plot of his next hero movie.

9. The Agents of SHIELD (2013)

IMDB Note: 7,5 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 95%

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8_yHhTL7H0&pp=ygUhYWdlbnRlcyBkYSBzaGllbGQgdHJhaWxlciBkdWJsYWRv

The Agents of SHIELD started as a simple spin off from the big screen movies starring Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, the guy who was always in the right place at the right time for his MCU

With two very lukewarm initial seasons, the series ended up taking off by telling the repercussions of the calamitous events that followed. Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier, where no one could trust anyone in a world practically dominated by the HYDRA organization. After that, The Agents of SHIELD acquired relative importance for the canon of MCU, and until its faithful season, it has remained at a very high level of quality, deserving a prominent position on our list.

8. Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier (2014)

IMDB Note: 7,8 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 92%

If you were among those who didn't like the first captain America, Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier must have made your hair stand on end. Not only was it an action movie, it's also a spy thriller, full of conspiracy theories and many twists and turns.

It had the illustrious presence of Robert Redford, one of Hollywood's bigwigs, who played the leader of SHIELD, revealed as a double-agent of HYDRA undercover. Bucky, an old friend of Steve Rogers, Captain America, returned as the enigmatic Winter Soldier, in the adaptation of the homonymous comic book saga.

Even those who don't like Marvel movies can't deny that Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier it was a tremendous film that was second to none in virtually every aspect, an excellent film version of the character created by Ed Brubaker for the comics who, to this day, plays a key role in the MCU

7. Spider-Man: Never Go Home (2021)

IMDB Note: 8,2 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 98%

Se Homem-Aranha: Longe de Casa didn't owe much to MCU as a whole, Spider-Man: No Return Home more than compensated for this lack, because we had, due to the pure innocence of Teioso and the irresponsibility of Dr. Strange, the timeline manipulation of the entire Marvel universe, kicking off the Multiverse crisis that the Phase 4 movies are currently dealing with.

But that was not all: in No Return Home happens one of crossovers coolest of all MCU so far, with the return of Spider-Man from the previous films, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, to lend a hand to Tom Holland, not counting the tips of the villains of their respective films, Sandman, Electro, Dr. Octopus, Lizard, and a very dangerous Green Goblin, with their respective actors, Thomas Hayden Church, Jamie Foxx, Dylan Baker, Alfred Molina and Willem Dafoe, as menacing as ever, to mess up Peter Parker's life once and for all.

6. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

IMDB Note: 8,0 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 92%

Guardians of the Galaxy it was a true cinematographic miracle, because Marvel bet heavily on it by putting a team of heroes, until then little known by the general public, in a feature film to be part of the MCU. And it worked out really well.

The label owes to this film the fever that Guardians of the Galaxy currently has in comics and games. The introduction of the space side of the Marvel universe came at a good time and James Gunn, the director, managed to hit the measure of the characteristic humor of the characters of the team led by Lord of the Stars, played by Chris Pratt (from the series Parks and Recreations).

5. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

IMDB Note: 8,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 92%

The Mad Titan ends up getting what he wanted so badly. He had to fight every hero in every movie in the world. MCU until that moment, with an absurdly epic climax in which the villain finally snaps his fingers and changes the reality of the Marvel universe forever.

With the “Blip”, the MCU it was never the same, and until now the effects of that blackout are felt in all series and films. Seeing the final battle on the big screen was a pleasure, even knowing what would happen at the end.

Marvel got it right and brought a point of contention that left fans breathless for almost an entire year, until the arrival of the next film, the second part of the conclusion of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

4. Avengers: Endgame (2019)

IMDB Note: 8,4 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 94%

That Thanos is an essential character of Marvel nobody disputes, and that was more than clear with the incredible conclusion of his saga in theaters in The Avengers: Endgame

For those who followed the story closely and can witness the climax of the story in theaters, Ultimatum simply kicked the dick out of the tent, with a plot that had everything to be a beautiful mess, but that managed to tie up almost completely.

Not to mention all the treatment given to previous films in the series being visited by time travelers, in the best style. back to the future 2, starting the plot of the series Loki and tying up the loose ends left by the various films that preceded it.

3. Daredevil (2015)

IMDB Note: 8,6 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 92%

No, we are not talking about the film starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, but the incredible Netflix series, the first of a series of adaptations on the service of streaming, with Charlie Cox (from Boardwalk Empire) masterfully interpreting the Man Without Fear.

Even with a second season of dubious quality, demolisher managed to turn around with one of the best plots among the series of Marvel's Netflix generation with its third season. Unfortunately, the series ended up canceled shortly after Marvel's purchase agreement by Disney.

However, thanks to the resounding success and Cox's appearance as attorney Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Return Home e She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes, Daredevil will be back very soon in Daredevil: Fall of Murdock, which will adapt the classic comic book saga written by Frank Miller to the small screen.

2. The Avengers (2012)

IMDB Note: 8,0 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 91%

There isn't a single fan of Marvel comics who will say it wasn't a dream come true to finally see the Avengers on the silver screen. The first film to unite all that came before it in the early days of MCU it may seem even small today, given the range of stories and number of characters that the various series and films keep on the air at the same time, but for the time, it was incredible.

The Avengers it was the great achievement of Marvel Studios when putting into practice the conclusion (until then) of a plan that included multiple films and studios in a film as round as this one. Even with the change of actors of the Hulk, from Ed Norton to Mark Ruffalo, The Avengers it was the success it was and is still considered proof of Marvel's genius in betting on its interconnected cinematographic universe, something that several others have tried and failed, including the DC Comics.

1. Iron Man (2008)

IMDB Note: 7,9 | Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 94%

The first place could not go to any other film than Iron Man.

Overproduction, which together with The incredible Hulk kicked off the MCU is a tremendous action film, with the energetic presence of Robert Downey Jr., in the middle of the second rise of his career after serious problems with illegal substance abuse, with a villain who really lives up to Tony Stark, played acidly by Jeff Bridges, in addition to the masterful direction of Jon Favreau, who also makes a point in the film as the flustered Happy Hogan.

Combined with the exemplary work of devastating special effects by the Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) team and a script worthy of the hero's best comics, Iron Man it was a hell of a blockbuster and remains the best of all the productions of the MCU. It's an excellent movie in itself, the fact that it's based on a comic book is just a detail and that's what makes it so great.
