Learn how to run Android apps simply as a Google Chrome extension.

It's been a few days since I saw the extension ARCHon protocols for Google Chrome, but the process of getting an application in Android and running it in the browser was very complex and I ended up giving up, today I saw the indication of an application that made the process much easier. See the process below.

ARChon Custom Runtime

  1. Download the tool by clicking this link
  2. Unzip the file to any folder on your computer
  3. Open the Google Chrome extensions tab
  4. Check the “Developer Mode” field
  5. Choose the option “Load expanded extension”
  6. Select the ARChon folder and click “OK” to proceed

Chrome APK Packager

  1. Install the Chrome APK Packager available on Google Play on your Android device
  2. Select the app you want to put in Chrome
  3. Select the smartphone/tablet and portrait/landscape options and wait for the file to be generated (I recommend tablet and landscape).
  4. Copy the generated folder to the computer

Installing in Chrome

  1. Open the Google Chrome extensions tab
  2. Select the Application folder and click “OK” to proceed

Results

I did a test with 3 different apps

  • Hill Climb Racing: I couldn't play, it gives error on Google Play due to license
  • MyEpisodes Manager: It worked with some problems, but you can use the app
  • Tavindo: It worked without problems

Leave your suggestions for apps for testing!
