Tutorial: How to create your best friends list on Instagram Stories

A feature long awaited by users who do a lot of Instagram Stories just arrived on the social network: the option to keep content posted in the last 24 hours only available to some people visualize. We can say that this was already possible if you had a private account, but now everyone can use it with peace of mind.

You can select a list of people authorized to see your posts, ensuring your privacy. With the function released recently, the question arose of how to select the people who will see your photos and videos. With that in mind, we teach in this tutorial the step by step to create this list.

First, go to your profile

To start building your best friends list, first go to your Facebook profile. Instagram, and then click on menu which is located in top right corner from your screen. Your next step will be to create a list of people you feel most affinity for.

Right after clicking "Best friends", just wait a moment and you will be redirected to the next screen. Before choosing, keep in mind that you need to be careful when selecting the people who will enter this list, as they will see everything you make available for them to view.

Right after doing this, you can post your Stories without worrying about who will see it. Do not forget to select in the settings of the Instagram Stories who will be able to see the photo or video that you will post on the social network. After doing that, just put the photo on the social network.

Right after choosing who will be able to see your photos and videos posted on Instagram Stories, you can now publish everything you want, since everyone who will see it is people you trust.

For those who don't know, this function was being tested since June of this year, but only in November it started to be released gradually to all users.

There is no operating system restriction to use this new feature, so it is released to Android ou iOS you can enjoy it without any problems.

You can tell that you're on someone's best friends list by seeing a green circle on their profile picture when you're viewing Stories.

For now, it is only possible to leave the Stories  viewable for some people, but most likely posts from feed also receive this tool.
