you bought the new Galaxy X (Galaxy Nexus), smartphone of the partnership Samsung/Google, and now wants to enjoy the benefits of technology NFC (more specifically, the Android Beam), correct? Well then read our tutorial below:

First, we explain that the Android Beam, a function that exists in some of the smartphones e tablets with the update Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) of the system Android, was created so that users could transfer apps, web pages, videos from the YouTube and other content between your devices, without the need for registration and pairing (as happened with connections Bluetooth). Using the function Beam, just touch the two devices, and transfer content between them instantly.

How to use Android Beam:

  1. Before you begin: both of your devices must have the ICS of the system Android, in addition to the sensor NFC. Confirm this functionality by accessing “Settings > About Phone” (to know the Android version) and “Settings >More… > NFC” (to enable NFC).
  2. sharing with the Android Beam (NFC): make sure that the NFC and Android Beam are enabled on both devices.
  3. Navigate to the content you want to share (a video of the YouTube, for example).
  4. Now, touch the backs of both devices. You will feel a vibration.
  5. Then see your screen gadgets. The content you want to share will take the form of a card, with a small animation there "Star Trek WarpSpeed" (yes a lot geek).
  6. Tap this card, and that's it: its contents will be transferred to the other device immediately.
