Tutorial: How to enable Gmail redesign

This Wednesday (25) the Google started to release the new interface of the gmail for users. In addition to having a new look, more in line with Material Design, it also gained a series of new functions, including: shortcuts to manage messages, add-ons bar for other services, automatic replies and others.

Soon we will talk about all the news in more detail, but for now, you can already know how to activate your new gmail. Check step by step:

Step 1. Access your account in the browser and click on the gear located in the upper right corner of the screen, as shown in the screenshot below:

Step 2. Then click on “Meet the new Gmail”;

Step 3. On the welcome screen, click on “Next”;

Step 4. Choose the viewing mode that suits you best. There are three categories: “Standard” shows a larger amount of the message; “Comfortable” displays a simpler view and, finally, “Compact”, which reduces the title and preview space to display more content;

Step 5. Okay, now just enjoy the new interface, along with its features;

Step 6. But if for some reason you want to go back to the old interface, just click the gear again and click “Back to classic Gmail”. This way, your email layout will return to the old look and you can use it normally. This trick was kept in case you don't get used to Google's new layout.
