Tutorial: Installing TWRP Recovery on LG G3 (Recovery Mode)

O LG G3 is already among the most appreciated models of smartphones sold in Brazil. Taking advantage of the interest, we published in the showmetech o LG G3 review, General Tips List and a Root Access and Update Installation Tutorial. Now it's time for the custom recovery mode installation tutorial. Look:

• This tutorial is recommended for users who want to install ROMs (custom operating systems) on LG G3.
• Before starting the tutorial, make sure you already have the Root Access Otherwise, follow the steps of this other tutorial.
• Even if you correctly follow all the steps in this tutorial, we are not responsible for damages caused to the device, ok? Follow these instructions at your own risk.

Downloadable Files:

Choose only the specific “Recovery” for your smartphone model:

• TWRP Recovery for Brazilian LG G3 (D855); or
• TWRP Recovery for T-Mobile LG G3 (D851); or
• TWRP Recovery for other LG G3 models (LG G3 AT&T, LG G3 D850, LG G3 Sprint, LG G3 LS990, LG G3 Verizon, LG G3 VS985, LG G3 Korean, LG G3 F400K/S/L, LG G3 D852, LG G3 D852G, LG G3 D855);

Then install the Rashr app on your smartphone:

• Rashr (via Google Play);

Installation tutorial:

To install the TWRP Custom Recovery on your smartphone, carefully follow the steps below:

1. save the file from TWRP Recovery No. microSD card from your smartphone;
2. Then launch the app rasher;
3. Look for the option Flash > Recovery (located on the first screen of the app);
4. Select the option “Other from storage”;
5. Find the folder where you saved the ROM (exe: /storage/emulated/External_SD);
6. Select the file from TWRP Recovery (Ex: twrp-2.8.0.0_d855-signed.img);
7. Confirm and wait for the installation process;
8. Ready!

You are now ready to install alternate ROMs on the LG G3. Enjoy it!
