New videos explain why the OLED screen of LG TVs is better than competing brands

A new digital campaign from LG intends to make clear the difference between the TVs of the South Korean brand and those of other brands. Launched last Thursday (19), the campaign with the theme “There is TV and there is LG OLED” highlights all the differentials found in the brand's televisions.

The content of the campaign, which will be broadcast on the brand's social networks and in digital media throughout March, tries to explain what differentiates the technology OLED, used in LG televisions, from others that can also be found on the market, such as LED and LCD.

According to Cintia Viani, Marketing Manager for Home Electronics at LG do Brasil, the main objective of the campaign is to highlight to the consumer what are the characteristics that make the brand's televisions provide a more immersive experience, with greater richness of colors and details.

According to Viani, OLED TVs are the brand's premium category of televisions, and with the films of the new advertising campaign it is possible to make it very clear, and in a very visual way, the superiority of the brand's technology in relation to competitors, in addition to clarifying some of the more technical aspects of the operation of these devices and highlight all the added value existing in them.

One of the videos produced for this campaign focuses on explaining how the black color on LG OLED TVs can make a big difference in image quality. The campaign uses a starry sky to show the contrast that exists between the black of other TVs and the pure black of LG's OLED TVs. The use of pure black allows all other colors to stand out more, leaving the images more vivid and sharp for the viewer.

A second video highlights the difference between the OLED screens used by LG TVs and the standard LED screens used in other televisions. It shows that the great secret of LG devices is the fact that the screens do not need a backlight panel, which means that each pixel on the screen has its own lighting strong enough to create images by itself, which also allows that the colors stand out more and that more details of the image are visible.

Operating in Brazil since 1996, the LG has a huge variety of products in the most diverse segments of electronic equipment, such as TVs, computer equipment, smartphones, air conditioners and even offering corporate solution services, thus being one of the companies operating in Brazil that is inserted in the widest variety of markets.
