With the launch of the new TwitterBlue and all persons having access to the Verified Accounts badge when making the $8 payment, Elon Musk created a problem: whoever made the payment can now impersonate official accounts to spread liar content that could cause problems for the most inattentive.
But a novelty arrives to put an end to that: all accounts that previously passed the Twitter verification, which started in 2009, will now have a new identification indicating that the account is really official🇧🇷 This new badge will be below the name on Twitter and is available in all countries:

New Verified Accounts badge won't be released for everyone
The novelty in the design on the blue bird's social network can be considered a complement to the rule that Elon Musk set during the first weekend of November 2022.

After launching the new twitter blue with the possibility of all people having the verified mark when making the payment of US$ 8 (R$ 41 in direct conversion), a movement began where people were pretending to be the richest man in the world and posting inappropriate content.
He then decided that the calls “parody accounts”, which simulate the identity of an important personality or news outlet to spread fake news, will be banned without notice and forever🇧🇷 The possibility of placing an identification that the account is official, right below the name, helps in reviewing and checking information on a daily basis.
The seal of "Official” will not be released for all accounts already verified by the platform. According to the product manager, Esther Crawford, only government profiles, commercial companies, business partners, major media, publishers and some public figures will have the seal that proves their identity.
It is worth remembering that no matter how much you pay, the purchase of the seal from verified accounts through the Blue It does not require human verification and just make the payment for an account to receive the icon next to its name.
Esther Crawford highlighted that the social network will continue working on ways to differentiate accounts that won the seal for their influence and those that paid for it. Until the end of this article, the TwitterBlue was available in USA, Canada, Australia e New Zealand.
Update of 14:04 pm on November 09, 2022: hours after implementing the new feature to identify large accounts, Elon Musk removed the new badge, without explanation. The screenshot below shows the official Twitter account without the rebrand:
