Every user of Twitter, at least once in his journey on the social network, ended up writing a post wrong and was upset that the edit button was not available. This situation, however, seems to be finally changing, as the platform has announced that it is starting to test the possibility of modifying content after publication.
How the edit tweets button will work

Initially, the button to edit tweets will only be available to some paid users of the platform, through the subscription system. TwitterBlue. It will allow editing of posts up to 30 minutes after publication, and will show other users an icon indicating the modification, as well as a history of the various versions of the tweet – something very similar to what happens in Facebook edits.
There is no forecast for the arrival of the final version of the function, with tests for some subscribers of the paid plan of the social network arriving at the end of the month and only in some regions of the world, initially. In addition, it is possible that the function will become one of the benefits of the platform's paid plan, which currently has customizable navigation options and permissions to use NFTs as profile images.
More recent news from the social network

The social network is constantly adding new features to its infrastructure, with one of the most recent being Twitter wheel, a feature that allows users to make tweets that are only seen by specific users – think Close Friends on Instagram.
In addition, other functions, such as the possibility to send tweets with another account as a co-author and even the addition of professional profiles on the platform also arrived in 2022, modifying the way that public, for example, are made on the social network.
