UFPE event promotes training in cybersecurity

Cybersecurity professionals have been in high demand for companies in the new economy, and the market has been offering training opportunities for this area. THE UFPE, in partnership with Storm Security Intelligence, will perform the Tempest Academy Conference on the 22nd and 23rd of November, from 9 am to 18:30 pm. The event will be in a hybrid format, with the face-to-face part at the UFPE Informatics Center (CIn), in Recife (PE).

A Tempest is the largest Brazilian company specializing in cybersecurity and fraud prevention, with global operations. In this partnership with UFPE, the cybersecurity training event will feature technical lectures and short courses with professionals in the area, offering participants the exchange of technical knowledge, networking and professional opportunities.

The technical lectures (more than 40 in total) will be organized in trails, and can be chosen according to the participant's individual schedule:

Participants will also be able to participate in a competition Capture the Flag, in which groups can be formed to conquer challenges related to security issues, and it is also an opportunity to develop related technical skills.
