Unlike normal championships, such as football, Valorant championships have a double elimination, that is, the team, to be eliminated, needs to lose two best-of-three series. The losing team of the call upper bracket (upper key) drops to the lower bracket (lower bracket) getting a second chance at the championship. Teams will compete in the group and knockout stages against each other in this format until only two teams remain in the final.
