It is also important to note that, as is common in leaks of this type, information may be subject to change. The original document was published in late 2023 by Dell, which suggests the possibility that the company has already made adjustments to its plans since then. However, the details provided still offer valuable insight into the planned release dates for the company's notebook lineup. Dell, as well as for future lines of CPU mobile Intel quality GPU mobile Nvidia.

Future Notebooks

Among the recent leaks, laptops from Dell They stood out. O XPS 16, popularly known as Diablo, is scheduled to receive two significant hardware upgrades between 2025 and 2026. Next year, a upgrade for processors Intel Arrow Lake-H, followed by another update in 2026 for the platform Panther Lake-H.

O XPS 14 da Dell, nicknamed Mobile, will follow a similar path, receiving improvements to its configuration with Arrow Lake-H CPUs and graphics Nvidia next-generation next year. However, in 2026, this model will be replaced by a new 14-inch version, codenamed Huracan, equipped with processors Panther Lake-H, hardware Nvidia 2026 and variants of SKU introducing hardware Snapdragon da Qualcomm with cores Oryon V2. In 2027, the laptop Huracan will undergo another update, this time for Nova Lake CPUs.

Furthermore, the iconic XPS 13 da Dell, known as Tribute R, is destined to receive upgrades de CPU. Still in 2024, the brand plans to launch variants Elite Snapdragon of the model, along with series options Lunar Lake-MX. In 2026, this model is scheduled to be replaced by the XPS 13 Plus, codename Divo, which will present options for Lunar Lake CPU e Qualcomm Oryon V2 next generation. Finally, in 2027, the model will receive an update to the parts Intel Nova Lake.

New Tandem OLED screens

The leaked information about the Dell XPLUS 12 still reveal the presence of a display OLED touchscreen with resolution up to 2,8K. These screens, called Tandem, stand out for their unique configuration, where OLED panels are superimposed one on top of the other to amplify both brightness and performance. HDR. It is worth noting that OLED screens traditionally consist of several layers to form a cohesive luminous panel. Thus, Tandem models offer superior performance to the previous generation, reaching 1.000 nits of brightness across the entire screen and up to 1.600 nits of peak in HDR.

Battery life

According to the leaked list, the XPS 13 it still maintains an impressive battery life of over 20 hours during video playback.

In a comparative chart, the Dell demonstrates that the XPS 13 Plus powered by Qualcomm achieves up to 21,9 hours of video playback with a display QHD +, representing an increase of 98% compared to the Intel Core i7 chip 12th generation Alder lake. However, in a similar comparison, but with an OLED display, improvements in battery life reduce to 68%. It's important to note that this comparison is not entirely fair, as Intel has implemented efficiency improvements in its latest CPUs.

4 years of Intel CPUs

The data leak from Intel reveals that its lines of CPU are intended to equip the devices of the Dell. According to the released roadmap, the processors of the series Lunar Lake-MX from Intel will be available in Q2024 XNUMX, followed by the launch of Arrow Lake-H in the first quarter of 2025, from Panther Lake-H in the first quarter of 2026 and the New Lake in 2027. In this way, Dell will ensure four years of partnership with Intel to supply CPUs.

Lunar Lake

A Lunar Lake represents the next evolution in Intel's mobile CPU architecture, promising 100+ TOP performance. As indicated by the leaked information, this chip will combine the manufacturing process itself 18A from Intel (1.8nm category) with the node N3B of 3nm TSMC. This generation is expected to have considerably reduced energy consumption compared to the meteor lake, along with significant improvements in IPC (Instructions Per Cycle).

Arrow Lake

The situation of the Arrow Lake It's still quite confusing. According to the roadmap da Dell, it is expected to be available for the mobile market. However, most of the information released so far is related to its desktop adaptation, known as Arrow Lake-S. This raises the possibility that the Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake have very similar architectures, although they may present some subtle differences.

Panther Lake

On the other hand, the Panther Lake is projected to be the next big evolution after the Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake. It is expected to be up to two times faster than its predecessors and up to five times faster than current chips meteor lake from Intel.

New Lake

Finally, but equally significant, we have the architecture New Lake, which represents the latest advancement in CPUs to date. According to leaks, it is expected to bring a substantial 60% improvement in IPC compared to its predecessors, in addition to using the Celestial GPU third generation Xe3 from Intel for integrated graphics.

Qualcomm's future ARM processors

The data leak from Qualcomm reveals very relevant information regarding the XPS 13 Plus, it is expected that this year it will be driven by the architecture ARM, accompanied by chips Snapdragon X Plus 10-core and X Elite 12 cores. A Dell also specified PDTs maximums of 17,5W and 25,5W for these models. The ARM device will include an OLED touchscreen display up to 2,8K, a webcam 1080p, support to RAM LPDDR5x-8400 and a resource called Qualcomm Fluence Audio. Although it does not offer 5G connectivity, support for Wi-Fi 7 it's guaranteed.

Oryon V2 and Oryon V3

Within the slides of the leaked script, we found mentions of Oryon V2 e V3. It must be emphasized that Oryon is the name of the processor (CPU) used in systems SoC (System-on-Chip) Snapdragon X and Snapdragon X Plus, together with a GPU integrated Adreno and a Hexagon Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

Despite the processor names, little information has been revealed about Qualcomm's plans for the future of Snapdragon X. However, it is a fact that the company plans to improve its Snapdragon X chips through generational upgrades. With a relatively quick release cycle for the Oryon V2 and a longer gap for the Oryon V3, it's possible there are plans for more substantial redesigns by 2027.

NVIDIA's next-generation GPU

O roadmap da Dell also revealed data leaks from NVIDIA, providing an approximate projection of GPU for all previously mentioned notebooks. Next year, notebooks with discrete graphics are expected to be upgraded to graphics hardware Nvidia-RTX of the next generation. In 2026, the brand's expectation is that these graphics will be updated to an improved version of Nvidia's next-generation hardware.
