Focused on expanding its portfolio of smart TVs in Brazil, today was the launch day of the new C6K, model of TCL that delivers images in 4K resolution through panels mini LED and AI features that enhance different parts of the image. Design
Starting from the base, the TCL C6K 4K smart phone arrives in Brazil with a “4-foot” base, which makes it easy to place on dressers and furniture. The model has a VESA hole in its back so that, if you prefer, you can leave it attached to the wall.
The battery-powered remote has a new design. The device has shortcuts to video streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, balloon play, YouTube e TCL Channels, the company's free IPTV service that has a variety of channel options. The same remote control also has a microphone and a key to use the Google Assistant, and you need to press this key to give voice commands. See below:
Despite not having a numeric keypad, the remote control is very comfortable to use, with a highlight being the shortcut button for the home screen, which is a great help. It would be more interesting if this remote control was powered by a rechargeable battery via a USB-C connection, but when we look at the average price for the category in which the smart TV is located, this is justified.
Fabric
Speaking of the screen, this model features a peak brightness of 700 nits in all sizes, as well as a native refresh rate of 144Hz, allowing a good experience on next-generation consoles, such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, through HDMI 2.1 input (with eARC support).
There are five size options: 55″, 65″, 75″, 85″ and 98″, all with the same QD-MiniLED panel. This type of technology still doesn’t have the same quality as an OLED panel, but the 4K resolution, present in all models, can deliver a very immersive visual experience.
A smart TV with a panel MicroLED it works like this: each pixel on a display micro LED emits its own light, eliminating the need for an extra backlight layer on the screen, as in traditional LCD or LED screens. This results in greater energy efficiency, higher contrast, more intense whites and better black levels, as the pixels can be completely switched off to create absolute black.
The greater the number of dimming zones, the better the image delivered, as there will be no need to see those white dots, which are quite common in LCD models. In our tests, which lasted two hours, we noticed good support for light and dark tones, even when the video resolution was higher than that supported by the Smart TV. TCL mentions that screen sizes can have up to 512 dimming zones.
Another highlight of the screen is the anti-reflective layer, present in the 85 and 98 inch models, which makes all the difference in environments with high natural lighting.
Audio
A TCL 65C6K smart TV offers a robust sound system to enhance users' listening experience. Equipped with a 2.1 channel audio system from the renowned Japanese brand Onkyo, the TV integrates a built-in soundbar that provides a sound power of 30W, distributed between the stereo speakers and a dedicated subwoofer for bass reinforcement.
TCL smart TVs enhance your listening experience with Dolby Atmos technology, which transcends the limitations of conventional channels by delivering three-dimensional audio. This results in astonishing clarity, greater emotional impact and immersive sound that fills the entire room.
The highlight for the sound is the good delivery of treble and bass and, when testing the sound quality of the speakers, we can see that the model delivers an interesting immersion for those who watch movies or prefer to listen to music on the smart TV.
Processor
The C6K is equipped with the AiPQ Pro processor, developed by its own TCL. This chip incorporates several unique image quality adjustment algorithms, enabling pixel-level adjustments to deliver a high-level visual experience.
One of the main features of the AiPQ Pro is Upcaling of Content, which upscales standard definition videos to near 4K quality. This means that even older or lower-resolution content becomes sharper and more detailed, providing an enhanced viewing experience.
Furthermore, the technology MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) Reduces blur in fast-moving scenes such as sports and action movies. This feature ensures that transitions between frames are smooth and natural, avoiding unwanted trails and improving the fluidity of images.
O AiPQ Pro also supports multiple HDR formatsas the HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG. This allows the TV to automatically adjust brightness, contrast and colors to suit the content format, delivering superior picture quality with brighter highlights and more detailed shadows.
Although the main focus of AiPQ Pro be the image, it also contributes to the audio improvement, automatically adjusting sound settings to deliver more immersive and balanced sound. This enhancement ensures a more immersive experience, combining crisp visuals with high-quality audio.
In addition, the company has managed to implement AI features that make an interesting difference in everyday life. These are:
- AI Contrast: Automatically adjusts the contrast of the picture, highlighting details in dark or bright scenes, providing a more vivid and enjoyable viewing experience.
- AI Color: Analyzes and adjusts parameters such as volume, saturation and contrast of colors, recreating vibrant tones in a realistic and artistic way, resulting in images with more than a billion distinct hues.
- AI Clarity: Reconstructs missing details in the image, improving sharpness and reducing unwanted noise. In addition, it upscales 2K content to 4K, ensuring greater clarity and precision in details.
- AI Motion: Detects fast-moving objects and calculates the motion in terms of frame rate, delivering smooth, blur-free images in action, sports or gaming scenes.
- AI HDR: Supports multiple HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG, enhancing picture quality by making colors more vibrant and highlights brighter. It also converts SDR content to HDR for a richer visual experience.
- AI Scene: Automatically recognizes the displayed content and adjusts the image settings to optimize the quality, ensuring a comfortable and high-quality appearance for different types of content.
Operational system

In addition to having a very clean interface, the operating system benefits from the extensive library and integration with smartphones Android, so you can give a command to the TV just using your smartphone and have a more connected day-to-day life.
The same operating system also supports video calling, so you can use a webcam to show your image and see the person on the other side of the call on the big screen, just like you do on a desktop or smartphone.
The fluidity of the version installed on the model we tested is impressive and applications such as YouTube, Spotify e Apple TV + are the big highlights, but all the ones we tested ran without any problems. The most interesting thing is that, when you start playing content with support for HDR10 +, Dolby Atmos ou Dolby Vision, an identification at the top left of the screen is displayed to ensure you see the best image and sound available.

A TCL 65C6K smart TV stands out in the market for incorporating the Game Master, a feature designed to enhance the gamer experience. This feature offers a series of advanced technologies:

- Picture Mode Optimization for Gaming: Automatically adjusts image settings to provide sharper graphics and vibrant colors during gameplay.

- ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode): Reduces input lag, ensuring fast responses to player inputs.

In addition to having the Google Assistant integrated into your operating system, the TCL's new smart TV has support to be controlled by Alexa da Amazon and also by Crab, Apple . The device also comes with support for Apple Home Kit, with a configuration interface present in the Google TV.

Until the end of this article, the TCL C6K 4K QD-MiniLED smart TV There was still no price or specific date for it to start being sold in Brazil.
