Next Sunday, the 10th, starting at 20pm (Brasília time), the biggest and most prestigious award in the film industry will be handed out, the Oscar 2024. In this great event, Hollywood stars compete for the much-coveted statuette.

The evaluated productions are watched by millions and millions of people around the world, generating immense interest in the award winners. With a massive audience of viewers (20 million were recorded in 2023), there are several broadcast channels for the event that you can check below and define where you want to follow the awards.

Oscar 2024 Streaming List

The 96 Oscar, which will reward the best films and interpretations of 2023, will feature broadcasts for all tastes. It will be possible to follow the big event on TV, internet, streaming, specialized channels, apart from the usual repercussion on social networks, such as X (formerly Twitter), with narration of the event's developments every second.

New this year is the change in time: In order to retain the audience until the end of the event, the organizers advanced by an hour the beginning of the ceremony, which usually loses viewers as the winners are announced. The prize giving is expected to end at around 3:30 am.

For those who are not satisfied with just the ceremony and don't want to miss any details, from the 18h is scheduled to begin the moment of Red carpet ou Red Carpet, with the arrival of big stars and the display of their most varied formal and casual looks.

Free streaming

O Oscar 2024 It will not be shown for free on any platform. Just like last year, Rede Globo – which over the years had shown the awards on open TV – decided not to buy the broadcasting rights. It is worth remembering that in 2022 Globo broadcast the delivery of the statuettes only on balloon play.

Free of charge, it will be possible to follow the broadcast on various portals such as EARTH and the YouTube channel popping, who will comment live on the awards. It is worth noting, however, that these channels cannot show images of the awards.

Paid streaming

Anyone who wants to watch the official Oscar broadcast for the Brazilian public will have to look for the paid channelTNT (available on the main cable TV operators) and streaming Max, formerly HBO Max.

As mentioned above, for Brazil, only streaming Max will broadcast the 2024 Oscar ceremony. The streaming has an application compatible with Android e IOS, in addition to running on tablets, video games and smart TVs. Max has three different subscription plans:

• Platinum Subscription: No ads, costs R$39,90 a month. Allows the download of 100 content to watch offline and includes the use of four devices simultaneously. This version guarantees the Dolby Atmos audio system, of excellent quality, in addition to Full HD and 4K Ultra HD resolution.
