Warner Bros releases first Wonka movie trailer

The 1st movie trailer wonka (2023) was released today, revealing the story behind the iconic character. The film is based on the classic children's literature by ronald dahl, exploring the journey of the eponymous character as he prepares to take over the magic factory and meets the famous oompa loompas. Directed by Paul King, the film promises to be a complementary piece to the previous films, revealing the life of the protagonist 25 years before the creation of the aforementioned factory.

Timothée Chalamet, Keegan-Michael Key, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), Olivia Colman, Jim Carter, Mathew Baynton, Tom Davis, Simon Farnaby, Rich Fulcher, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Paterson Joseph, Calah Lane, Matt Lucas , Colin O'Brien, Natasha Rothwell, Rakhee Thakrar and Ellie White make up the film's cast.

wonka brings together a renowned creative team, with the same producers of “Harry Potter”, the screenwriter of “Inside Out”, Simon Rich, and the director of “Paddington”, Paul King.

wonka premieres on December 14 in Brazilian theaters.

Other adaptations of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'

The fantastic chocolate factory is a story that has already received two notable film adaptations. The first version was launched in 1971, directed by Mel Stuart and starring Gene Wilder like Willy Wonka.
