Wearables: How to record and edit videos with Gear 360

How to use the Gear 360

The basic use of the handheld camera Gear 360 da Samsung is the recording and editing of videos. The process is simple, but it has some basic steps to do it. Getting started with recording videos:

1 – Open the app Samsung Gear 360 on your smartphone, then select the option to connect the devices.

2 – When the connection is finished, select the option to Camera. At this point, you will be able to see the image from the camera lens on the smartphone screen. By dragging your finger on the screen, you can also drag the image to have a view of the entire environment around you from various angles. With the pinch gesture, the image is zoomed.

3 - Click Mode to select between Video, Photo, Time Lapsed, Video Looping and HDR. select Institutional.

4 – When returning to the camera lens image, simply select the button to start recording. It's a white button with a red dot, located to the right of the Mode button.

5 – When finished recording, return to the application Samsung Gear 360 and this time select the option Gallery. It is divided into two tabs, the Phone number e Gear 360. In the Gear 360 folder will be the video that has not yet been saved.

6 – To save, you must open the tab Gear 360 and select the video. This will bring up two options at the bottom of the screen: Save e Delete. Select Save and by doing so, a copy of the video will be saved in the Phone number.

Once saved, the video can be edited either on the smartphone itself through the camera app or on the computer.

Editing videos in 360º

To edit the video on the smartphone, simply select the option Editr on screen preview (Preview, in free translation). Thus, it will be possible to select the Patch, which is a kind of layout or background for the image or video. It is also possible to trim the audio and the video itself.

For a more complete edition, the Samsung even offers a program for Windows and Mac, Cyberlink Action Software. You can download the program from Samsung website. After installing the software, when connecting the camera Gear 360 to the computer via the USB cable, the access key is recognized automatically, without having to manually enter it.
