WhatsApp: Pin the most important conversations to the top of the screen

Who is a user of the beta version of WhatsApp I already knew this function. But now the developers have released it to all users. I mean not all, as it was only made available first for the app version on Android. So user of iPhone, you will have to wait a little longer.

The novelty allows pin one or more conversations to the top of the app's home screen. That way, as much as you chat with other people and groups, that contact pinned at the top will stay there. This is great for improving the organization of our conversations within the app. In addition, the function is very simple to activate, but some lay users may not discover it. So follow the step by step below and be happy!

Step 1. Tap and hold briefly on one of the conversations to select it. Then note that at the top of the screen will appear some icons, among them a pin. Tap it to pin the conversation to the top.

As you can see in the image above, when you tap on the pin icon, the conversation went to the top and got the pin symbol next to it, indicating that that conversation is pinned.

WhatsApp Web also supports the function

The function is also valid in Web WhatsApp. To do this, just hover over the conversation you want to pin and click on the little arrow that appears. Among the options that will appear, click on “pin conversation”. See image below:

Ready! Very simple. It is possible to fix in maximum 3 individual or group conversations. And they will be listed in the order you pinned them. That is, the last contact to be pinned will appear first. To unpin a conversation, just follow the same path. By tapping the pin button the conversation will go to its place of origin.

O WhatsApp also prepares other novelties, such as the cancellation of sending a message in up to 512 seconds and also the sending of its location in real time, as it already happens on Facebook Messenger. Unfortunately, we don't know when these features will be available for everyone.
