WhatsApp launches update for Android inspired by Material Design style

time to update WhatsApp. The messaging app, which is a national fever, gets more visual improvements inspired by the Material Design, the layout style created by Google, which today reverberates through the system Android and company services.

A version 2.12.84 was officially released to all users of the Android. The look has been improved, with round buttons, a transparent status bar and some other new features. Many people had already experienced some of the new features since the developers of Whatsapp  started offering a trial version for download, from the 14th of April, through the official website of the app.

to update the WhatsApp, just visit the app page in the store Google Play and click update. If not, you can force the update by uninstalling and reinstalling the program. And, of course, you can always try to install the app via the whatsapp official website.

 Among the changes that draw the most attention are the buttons to access the gallery, send photos, videos, audio, locations and contacts to your friends. In addition to being round, they became more colorful (see below), with shading and overlays. Look:

Another detail that stands out in this layout is the top bar, with a darker shade of green, but keeping the three options in the menu with “Calls”, “Conversations” and “Contacts”. It gives the impression that the app has finally matured and lost that dated interface, embracing the minimalist layout once and for all.
