
O Web WhatsApp was released at the beginning of the year and, since then, it has remained with basic functions, allowing only the exchange of messages. However, the tool received today (9) a major update that gives more autonomy for users to manage conversations, without having to have their cell phone in hand.
From now on it is possible to change the profile picture, as well as your professional status. Just click on your photo at the top left of the screen to access the options. In addition, we can delete and archive conversations individual, mute or exit groups.
Small changes in interface were made to adapt to the new functionalities; when you hover your mouse over your conversations in the left bar you will see a small arrow next to each chat, for example.
Some users are able to perform many of these functions through keyboard shortcuts, but they are available for a short time and then disappear. We still don't know when the developers will release this specific feature to everyone.
