After a few months of tests for the knowledge of the curious and the handling of professionals in the area, the Windows 11 has been marked mainly by the limitation of installation on some older computers. This will change because, in addition to installing by update on the PC itself, it will now also be possible to install the Windows 11 on old PCs downloading the ISO file.
Since its official announcement in June, many people have wanted to know how to install Microsoft's new operating system and see what's new — so far. To do this, you must use the PC Health Check app (check out when will you be able to download windows 11) in order to confirm if your device would support Windows 11, because according to the company, not all devices will be able to be updated with the new system. Now, nearly three months later, we're told things won't be that tight—but with one caveat.

To upgrade from Windows 10 to 11, you should go to PC Health Check App, check if the device is ready, go to Windows Update and perform the update. Since your device has not been “approved” to receive the new operating system, Microsoft has announced that it will be possible to install Windows 11 on old PCs via ISO, that is, instead of accessing Windows 11 through its natural update, you will be able to download the system ISO file — on a CD, pendrive, etc — and install it on a computer that would not behave, as was already done in other earlier versions.
But unfortunately, not everything is exciting news. Even after stating this new possibility, Microsoft still informed that it does not recommend this type of installation, because even on the most secure devices, when the installation is performed via ISO, these computers will not receive updates through the Windows Update. Until then, there was no position from the company on why it made the change or why it revealed an alternative method with no guarantee of updates.
