A ecosystem seems to be willing to go back on several of the changes introduced by the Windows 8. New information shows that the Windows 9, which is already in development, will remove the “Buttons” sidebar (Charms, in English) of the system.
The bar, which allows accessing the sharing and settings menus, among others, has always been quite criticized because it is not very practical for those who use Windows with keyboard and mouse, in addition to being hidden and requiring the user to remember where and how to access it.

In addition to the information we already have, like the turn of the start menu and the ability to run applications Metro in desktop mode, the Windows 9 will also include a new function of virtual desktops, similar to Spaces do Mac OS X.
Virtual desktops work as if you have multiple monitors connected to your computer, each showing different windows and wallpapers. But they exist on a single monitor, which shows one at a time, while the others are virtually “hidden” from view until accessed. Who ever messed with a Mac know how they can dramatically increase productivity and organization.
O Windows 9 is being developed under the codename Threshold and should be presented at the end of this year by the ecosystem, with a public beta being released in sequence, and scheduled for release in spring 2015 (our fall).
