Xbox Live releases apps and Smartglass for users who don't have a Gold subscription

In the last week, the consoles of ecosystem received an update that frees up access to Xbox Live apps for all users, removing the previous requirement to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. Now, with a free account, you can use apps like Netflix, Vevo, YouTube, browse the web with the Internet Explorer and access the features of xbox smart glass (on smartphone or Windows 8) in games like Just Dance 2014 or Dance Central 3.

If you haven't updated yet, connect your console to Internet. A pop up window will be displayed notifying you of the availability of the update.
