Xbox One launches in Brazil and 12 other countries

After almost 5 months in pre sale, Xbox One is launched and is now available at major stores and retail sites across the country from today. The new console ecosystem is on sale in 13 markets including Brazil, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Austria.

To the delight of Brazilian fans, the Xbox One is manufactured in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, which justifies its price well below Sony's PS4, for R$2.299,00. “Microsoft reinforces its commitment to the Brazilian market by bringing, simultaneously with 12 other countries, the Xbox One 100% produced in Brazil. The company believes in the country's potential and invests in local manufacturing with the aim of bringing a complete entertainment option to Brazilian families at an affordable price.”, says Francisco Simon, Sales and Marketing Director for Microsoft Brazil.

To mark the release, the ecosystem prepared events all over the world. In Brazil, interested parties were able to participate in an event open to the public at Fnac from Av. Paulista, with the right to DJ and experimentation. For guests and the press, the American company prepared a party with a laser show, dance performance, live band and, of course, new generation consoles Xbox.
