Xiaomi launches Smart Band 10 and Redmi Pad 2 in Brazil starting at R$599

At an event held in São Paulo, directly on the Xiaomi Connected Home, the Chinese company announced the arrival of two new devices to the Brazilian market. While the smart band 10 arrives as a partner for everyday life, redmi pad 2 promises to keep users connected all day thanks to support for 4G networks. Check out all the details of the models now:

Human + Car + Home

A Xiaomi is expanding its vision beyond smartphones and home devices with the new strategic concept “Human x Car x HomeThe central objective is to create a fully integrated ecosystem in which people, their vehicles, and their homes are seamlessly connected. The goal is for devices to interact intelligently and proactively, providing a connected and fluid living experience, controlled primarily by the user's smartphone.

The size of this ecosystem is already remarkable. According to Luciano Barbosa, head operations of the DL group, Xiaomi's distributor in Brazil, the company demonstrates its strength in the local market with a wide range of products:

Between cell phones, robot vacuum cleaners, and even smart toothbrushes, Xiaomi already sells over 600 of its products in Brazil. Globally, the company's leadership in connectivity is even more significant. Xiaomi has already developed 943 million connected devices (IoT devices), becoming the world's largest manufacturer in this segment. This robust ecosystem is designed to assist users at home, at work, and even in the car, as Xiaomi now also manufactures automobiles.

The final piece of this integration strategy is its first electric vehicle, the Xiaomi SU7. The car was developed to integrate natively with the brand's smartphones and smart home devices, consolidating the vision “Human x Car x Home” into a tangible reality for consumers.

A Xiaomi smart band 10 combines and e technology in an elegant design, equipped with a 1,72 inch AMOLED screen. The display has ultra-thin bezels, brightness up to 1500 nits and refresh rate of 60 Hz, ensuring a more fluid and immersive visualization.

Designed for an active lifestyle, the band offers advanced health and wellness features. Equipped with a new 9-axis sensor, the Smart Band 10 tracks over 150 sports, including stroke detection with artificial intelligence for swimming e real-time heart rate transmission.

Sleep tracking has also been improved, now with expert-led improvement plans. Battery life is one of the highlights, reaching up to 21 days with typical use and even 8 days in heavy use.

The Redmi Pad 2 was designed to offer an immersive entertainment experience, with a wide screen of 11 inches e 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600). Thanks to AdaptiveSync refresh rate de 90 Hz, the visuals remain smooth, especially in fast-moving scenes.

To ensure visual comfort during long periods of use, the tablet has certifications TUV Rheinland for low blue light emission, flicker-free, and circadian-friendly. The audiovisual experience is complemented by a four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support.

Equipped with processor MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra, manufactured with 6nm technology, the Redmi Pad 2 offers robust performance for everyday tasks and casual gaming. The tablet is available in several configurations, with options for 4 GB, 6 GB ou 8 GB de RAM, and 128 GB ou 256 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2 TB.

The device comes with the operating system Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and is powered by a powerful 9.000 mAh battery, which supports 18 W fast charging, ensuring long usage sessions with fewer interruptions. According to Xiaomi data, it can work for up to 17 hours of video playback and even 234 hours of music playback.

For users who need constant connectivity, Xiaomi offers the Redmi Pad 2 4G. This version maintains the same entertainment-oriented features, but adds dual SIM support e 4G networks.

In terms of cameras, the device has a 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front. The rear camera has a pixel size of 1,12 µm and an aperture of f/2.0, while the front camera maintains the same pixel size and aperture of f/2.2. Both record 1080p (Full HD) videos at 30 frames per second (fps).

A Xiaomi smart band 10 and Redmi Pad 2 arrive today, 30 July, to the Brazilian market. The smart bracelet has a suggested retail price starting at R$599,99 and is available in colors black, talk e pink.

O redmi pad 2 has a suggested price starting from R$2.249,99 in the version with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage starts at R$2.649,99. The version Redmi Pad 2 with 4G support will arrive in the country later this year, but a specific date has not yet been confirmed by Xiaomi.
