One of the most notorious involutive traits of this current generation is the bad habit of shooting videos vertically. Unfortunately, every day it becomes more difficult to swim against this tide. Although all TVs, monitors, movie theaters, cameras and the like are horizontal, leading to the obvious, the use of the smartphone vertically ended up creating this custom. It's not forbidden, but it's very ugly.
To further help the popularization of the format, some applications have entered the scene: Instagram e Periscope are two vertical video boosters, and now the YouTube all with Android gave in to the pressure and released in its new update the possibility of watching such videos in full screen.
In addition to this novelty, which is not good, but necessary, there were changes in the application's layout. It is now divided into three tabs: Home, Subscriptions and Account, making it easier to consume content and manage your channels.

The version of the app that has these new features is 10.28.57, which is not yet in the Play Store, but can be downloaded from APKmirror.
Finally, watch an awareness video on the subject:

Despite the novelty, I still prefer to use a function that is present in all smartphones, which is to turn the device to shoot videos horizontally.
