The team of developers responsible for YouTube announced a new design Specially designed for TVs and big screens. Using the new orientation Material Design, the new look seeks to facilitate browsing and viewing videos on large screens and without touchscreen and mouse controls.
The design also tries to facilitate the tracking of playlists and the channels that the user signs. An side bar that pops up as needed presents almost every section of content in a list, making it easy to remotely control TVs.
The staff even made a video showing how the new look can be used by people in the kitchen, playing music and in other normal everyday situations.
The update for now is only coming for users of the Xbox One, but it should be progressively applied to other platforms in the coming days.
