A common behavior of companies that put premium smartphones on the market is that while they need to be powerful, they also need to be big to deliver a good visual experience. A ASUS continues trying to change this pattern with the launch of zenfone 10, which has a simple screen of only 5,9 inches.
the new model Android It has a high-power processor, a high amount of RAM and internal storage. Check out the details right now and understand the idea of the Taiwanese company.
Design and canvas
Enquanto or Zenfone 9 was announced as “best small smartphone of 2022”, the ASUS maintained the same concept when launching the successor of this model. O Zenfone 10 reaches the international market with the same AMOLED screen with 2K resolution of 5,9 inches, but weighing 172 grams.
The thickness was 9,4 millimeters and the screen refresh rate is 144Hz in a 20:9 ratio, as well as protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Foods.

O Zenfone 10 will be released in five colors: Aurora Green (green), eclipse red (red), Comet White (White), Starry Blue (blue) and Midnight Black (Black). In the box we have a charger and protective cover for the user. No headphone jack is shipped, but at least the 2mm P3,5-type headphone jack is present here.

The biggest highlight is for the button ZenTouch. He can do:
- Lower the notification panel
- Open camera app via double tap
- Go to bottom or top of page when using a browser
- turn on the flashlight
- Be used in navigating internet sites
- Full notification reading
- Play YouTube videos
The last three options in the list above are new for 2023 and are only available on Zenfone 10. Speaking of protection, it can be submerged in water for 30 minutes (1,5 meter depth) and also works even with small dust grains due to IP68 protection.
Cameras
The rear main lens has not changed compared to the ZenFone 9. The lens still has the sensor Sony IMX766 50MP (same as Galaxy A54) with opening f 1.9, together with the other 13 MP lens. At the rear, there is a stabilizer that delivers good video stability for autofocus: the Adaptive EIS (electronic stabilizer) identifies the required field of view, adjusts in real time and stabilizes the video, all automatically.

Another novelty is in HyperClarity, an effect that improves the clarity of photos based on the capture of RAW images. Portrait mode photos can now be captured at 1x or 2x zoom.

Moving to the front, selfies and video calls can be performed on the 32 MP lens, with support for portrait mode (also called the Bokeh effect). New for 2023 is that the front camera now captures 67% more light and has 50% noise reduction. A ASUS also promised that the same lens supports capturing more skin tones. It will be possible to capture content in 4K resolution at 30fps and in 1080p at 30/60fps.

Recording content with the rear lens can be done in 8K resolution at 24fps, 4K at 30/60/120fps, and 1080p at 30/60/240fps.
Processor and memory
Being a premium smartphone, the Zenfone 10 reaches the international market with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, present in the most powerful Android models of 2023. There are internal storage versions of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.

The maximum amount of RAM of the LPDDR5X type was 16 GB. The CPU gain was 15% compared to Zenfone 9. The Android smartphone can be a good option for those who like to play games and run several applications at the same time, but this is a statement that we will only make when we have them in hand.
Battery
Another specification that has remained the same between generations is the battery: the Zenfone 10 have the same 4300 mAh of battery capacity, however the ASUS confirms a 12,9% longer duration compared to the previous generation due to the new processor.

Charging via USB-C cable reaches up to 30W of power, and this drops to 15W in wireless charging. Overall battery life was not commented on by ASUS, but in 2022, we managed to reach a use of just over 24 hours and this should be even higher in the new model.
Operating system and sensors
O Zenfone 10 rely on Android 13 factory installed and ASUS confirms that this model will be updated until the Android 15, with security packages updated until 2027. The operating system is delivered through the proprietary interface Zen UI, which offers smartphone cloning, extensive screenshots, customization via Material You, animation speed and Game Genie (special menu for games).

It has a Bluetooth 5.3 antenna, built-in GPS, accelerometer, compass and proximity sensor, as well as the ambient light sensor around here. Fingerprint reading is done under the screen.
Talking about audio, the speakers were manufactured by DIRAC and spatial audio is supported for wired or wireless use, as well as Hi-Res audio e Hi-Res Wireless Audio. We also support snapdragon sound and the application AudioWizard allows customization of sound and equalizer.
